INDIVIDUAL COUNSELLING
Individual counselling is a one-on-one therapeutic process where we work together to explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours.
Sessions are confidential and designed around your needs, offering support, insight, and strategies for coping with life challenges, trauma, or mental health concerns. This process fosters personal growth, emotional regulation, and improved wellbeing through evidence-based interventions and a trusting therapeutic relationship.
ADDICTION
Addiction counselling is a specialised form of individual therapy that supports you in understanding and addressing your substance use or compulsive behaviours. It involves exploring the underlying causes of addiction, building motivation for change, and developing practical strategies for recovery. Through our non-judgmental, therapeutic relationship, we collaborate and work together to gain insight, strengthen your coping skills, and work toward long-term behavioural and emotional stability for your current and future self.
TRAUMA
Trauma counselling is a therapeutic process that helps you safely explore and process past traumatic experiences. In a supportive, confidential setting, we work together to understand how trauma impacts your thoughts, emotions, and body. I use evidence-based approaches to reduce distress, build emotional resilience, and restore a sense of safety and control, supporting healing and post-traumatic growth. Some of the evidence based approaches I use include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), iRest Yoga Nidra.
ANXIETY
Anxiety counselling provides a safe, supportive space to explore and manage persistent worry, fear, or stress. We work together to learn to identify your triggers, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and develop practical coping strategies. Through evidence-based techniques such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness to build confidence, improve emotional regulation, and regain a sense of calm and control in daily life.
STRESS
Stress counselling helps you to understand and manage the impact of ongoing pressure, overwhelm, or life demands often linked to elevated cortisol levels and burnout. Together we identify your unique stressors, explore emotional and physical responses, and develop healthy coping strategies. Evidence-based techniques promote relaxation, resilience, and nervous system regulation, enabling you to reduce cortisol-driven symptoms and restore balance in both mind and body.
LIFE TRANSITIONS
Life transition counselling supports you in navigating significant changes such as relationship shifts, career moves, parenthood, or loss. These transitions can trigger stress, uncertainty, or identity challenges. In a safe, therapeutic space we explore your emotional responses, clarify your values, and build adaptive coping strategies. We will foster resilience, self-awareness, and confidence, helping you adjust to change while maintaining psychological wellbeing and a sense of purpose.
Loss and grief is an individual experience, never the same for each of us, I will walk along side you through your grief, supportively and compassionately.
